미술기반으로 작가활동을 하고 있다. 전문적인 음악교육이나 악기연습없이 파트타임스위트사운드(2010~)의 멤버로 참여하여 드물게 공연을 해왔으며 두 장의 EP를 발매하였다. 2011년과 2012년 두 차례 문래 레조넌스 워크숍에 참가하면서 필드 레코딩을 시작하게 되었고, 워크숍 즉흥공연을 위하여 우연히 스티로폼과 기타줄 등을 이용한 연주 또한 시작하게 되었다. 최근 <기울어진 각운들> 전시에 컨텍트마이크로폰과 기타줄을 이용한 필드 레코딩 작업 ‘솔로 인터뷰’를 발표했으며 홍철기와 솔로테입 발매 계약을 맺고 준비중이다.
Lee Miyeon
Lee is an artist whose works are based on fine art. Having received no musical training, she started playing at concerts in 2010 as a founding member of Part-time Suite Sound, which released two EPs. After participating in Mullae Resonance Sound Workshop in 2011 and 2012, she began field recording. She also started improvising with a Styrofoam box and guitar strings to play at the Workshop’s improvisation gigs. Recently, she put a field recording piece Solo Interview, produced with contact microphones and guitar strings, on show at The Song of Slant Rhymes exhibition. She has also signed a contract with Hong Chulki to release a solo tape and is now working on it.
