연주자 소개
정금형 Geumhyung Jeong

정금형은 퍼포먼스, 무용, 안무, 연극, 영상, 설치 등 다양한 방식으로 작업을 하는 아티스트다. 현대무용, 인형극, 시각예술 분야의 언어와 기법을 결합한 작품을 통해 인간의 신체와 이를 둘러싼 사물 간의 관계를 탐구해 왔으며, 몸과 오브제가 물리적으로 상호작용하는 과정에서 누가 누구를 통제하는지 모호해지는 상황에 관심을 가져왔다. 최근 토크 형식의 공연은 라이브 공연의 구체적인 요소와 무대 경험을 관객과 공유하며 퍼포먼스의 기존 경계를 확장했다.
제16회 에르메스재단 미술상 수상자이며 베니스 비엔날레, 임펄스탄츠 페스티벌 등을 비롯 세계의 다수 페스티벌에서 전시와 퍼포먼스를 진행한 바 있다.
사물과 공간에 대한 경험과 관심을 바탕으로 악기로 간주되지 않는 물질들을 이용한 사운드로 음악을 만들어 오고 있다. 해체된 하드디스크는 그를 대표하는 악기이며, 신디사이저 및 다른 사물을 결합, 어쿠스틱과 전자음향의 경계를 넘나든다. 이외에도 매일 1분씩 녹음, 공개하고 있는 레코딩 작곡 작품 <Y.ear>를 2015년부터 실천해 오고 있으며. 2019년 부터 시각예술가 김인경과의 오디오비주얼 프로젝트 ‘중간자 Joongganja’를 결성, 퍼포먼스를 선보이고 있다.
기획자로서는 2008년부터 즉흥음악 공간 ‘닻올림‘ 을 설립해 현재까지 연주회를 이어오고 있으며 페스티벌 ‘닻올림픽‘을 2012, 2013, 2017년 기획, 진행했다. https://popmusic25.com

연주자 소개
예나 장 Jena Jang
예나 장 Jena Jang 은 체코 프라하를 베이스로 유럽에서 활동 중인 오디오 비주얼 아티스트이다. 다양한 악기에 대한 확장된 테크닉을 통해 만들어지는 사운드 스토리텔링과 그를 통한 영적인 수준의 표현에 관심이 있다. 특히 즉흥 보컬, 허밍, 챤팅, 비명 등 목소리를 악기로 이용하여 연주하며 이를 통해 마음 속의 부정적인 것을 제거하고 그것을 가벼움으로 바꾸는 정화의 과정에 중점을 두고 있다. 이러한 에너지 순환이 그의 작품의 주요 레퍼토리이며, 도시, 사람, 자연, 그리고 우주의 온갖 하모니를 기반으로 작곡을 한다. 그는 즉흥 음악과 퍼포먼스를 통해 완전한 ‘몰입’을 제공하는 무의식의 바다에 뛰어든다.

Conny Zenk 코니 젱크
Conny Zenk 코니 젱크는 다학제적 퍼포먼스에 초점을 맞추는 비디오, 사운드, 미디어 아티스트이다. 작가는 프로젝션, 디지털 미디어, 신체와 도시 공간 사이의 혼합적인 맥락을 탐구하며, 아시아와 유럽에서의 퍼포먼스, 시청각 실험적인 콘서트와 퍼포먼스 영역에서의 다양한 협업, 공공 공간에서의 다학제적이고 다문화적인 행동의 형태 등을 보여주었다. 작가는 공공 공간 “RAD 퍼포먼스” 의 퍼포먼스 시리즈 디렉터로, 최근에는 <Velodrome>과 <Spiral Bike>와 같은 퍼포먼스를 선보였다. 아르스 일렉트로니카(오스트리아 뉴미디어아트 축제), 믹스투르 페스티벌 바르셀로나, 렌콩트레스 인터내셔널즈 파리, 알라르메 베를린, 노이즈 투 시그널 홍콩, 임펄스 탄츠(오스트리아 빈 현대무용축제)와 같은 국제적인 페스티벌에 참여해왔다.
Conny Zenk is a video, sound and media artist with a focus on transdisciplinary performances. She explores hybrid contexts between projection, digital media, body and urban space. Her work includes projects in Asia and Europe, numerous collaborations in the field of audio-visual experimental concerts and performances, as well as transdisciplinary and transcultural forms of action in public space. Conny Zenk is the director of the performance series in public space RAD Performance,with her recent performances VELODROME and SPIRAL BIKE. Zenk shows her work at international festivals such as Ars Electronica, Mixtur Festival Barcelona, Rencontres Internationales Paris, A’larme Berlin and Noise to Signal Hong Kong and ImPULStanz.
Gischt 기쉬트 (aka Ursula Winterauer 우르술라 윈터라우어)는 잔혹함과 조화로움 사이에서 가공되지 않은 소리를 만들어낸다. 작가는 베이스 기타, 신디사이저와 일렉트로 스모그 클라우드를 이용해 인더스트리얼, 앰비언트 그리고 슬로우모션 테크노와 같은 음악 장르에 대한 차별화된 사운드스케이프를 전한다. 오스트리아 페스티벌과 스위스 취리히, 독일 베를린, 코소보 프리슈티나, 미국 뉴욕과 같은 도시에서 공연을 해왔다. 큐레토리얼 작업을 진행하는 것 외에도, 벤틸 레코드라는 음반사를 운영하며 영상과 퍼포먼스를 위한 작곡가이자 사운드디자이너로 일한다.
Gischt aka Ursula Winterauer generates raw sounds between brutality and harmony. Her eclectic soundscapes deliver differentiated interpretations of the genres industrial, ambient and slowmotion techno which are reflected by means of bass guitar, synthesizer and electro-smog clouds. Performances at Austrian festivals, as well as in cities such as Zurich, Berlin, Priština and New York. In addition to curatorial work, she runs the label Ventil Records and works as a composer & sound designer for film and performance.
Nerve 너브(aka Steve Hui 스티브 후이)는 컨템포러리 클래식 작곡을 공부한 다학제적 아티스트이다. 작가는 경계를 넘고 전통을 실험하고 예술의 형식을 혼합하며 현존하는 음악 체계를 해킹한다. 그의 작업은 음악, 사운드아트, 멀티미디어어 영상과 언더그라운드 문화의 경계를 뛰어넘는다. 너브는 실험예술단체인 Twenty Alpha 트웬티 알파의 공동운영자, 홍콩 아카데미 포 퍼포밍 아트의 강연자, 홍콩 커뮤니티 라디오 레지던스 입주작가, 뉴욕 아시안 컬쳐 카운실의 펠로우이며, CTM 베를린, 러프, 플레이프릴리 싱가포르, 소나 홍콩과 같은 페스티벌에 참여해왔다.
Steve Hui, known as Nerve, is a multidisciplinary artist with training in contemporary classical composition and roots in the rave scene. He hacks into the existing music system by mixing art forms, crossing boundaries and experimenting with traditions. His practice transcends the boundaries between music, sound art, multimedia theatre and underground culture. His major works include the trance installation opera Somnium, the documentary opera Songs of Portrait in collaboration with Cheuk Cheung, the cinematic opera 1984, and the digital opera The Memory Palace of Matteo Ricci. He is a co-operator of experimental art organisation Twenty Alpha, a lecturer of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, a resident of Hong Kong Community Radio, and a fellow of Asian Cultural Council in New York. He has performed at festivals such as CTM Berlin, LUFF Lausanne, playfreely Singapore and Sónar Hong Kong.
Peter Kutin 피터 쿠팅
Peter Kutin 피터 쿠팅은 다양한 교차점에서 장르를 넘나드는 사운드 작업을 진행한다. 그는 설치, (키네틱)조각, 라이브와 신디사이저 음악, 퍼포먼스를 혼합한 프로젝트를 진행한다. 움직이는 이미지에 대한 관심은 음악을 넘어서 실험적인 짧은 영상, 멀티미디어 시나리오, 퍼포먼스 등으로 확장된다. 독일의 작곡가 Crhistina Kubisch 크리스티나 쿠비슈, 아티스트 Elvin Brandhi 엘빈 브란디, Lukas König 루카스 쾨닉 등과 협력하며, 2019년에는 사운드 조각인 ‘Torso#1’으로 프리 아르스 일렉트로니카를 수상했다.
Peter Kutin works with sound across genres and at various intersections. His pieces have been exhibited, commissioned, performed, screened or discussed at notable occasions and venues across the globe. His often site-specific projects combine aspects of installations, (kinetic) sculptures, live- as well as synthesised music and performance art. He received several awards, scholarships and residencies; He has active cooperations with Christina Kubisch, Elvin Brandhi, Lukas König, a.o. In 2019 he received the Prix Ars-Elctronica for his kinetic sound-sculpture Torso#1.
