Her music focuses on experimenting with Korean traditional rhythms and sound through free improvisation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hannah has been active in Australia playing in performances such as SIMA Sydney International Women&#8217;s Jazz festival(SYD), Meeting points concert series &lt;Breath and Circles&gt; (MEL) and MONA festival (TAS).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>She is part of drum trio Tagolak with drummers Chloe Kim and Simon Barker. She has also played in various duo projects.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Hannah has also been part of Korean traditonal music ensemble E flat winning grand prize for Crown Haitai festival(SEL) and Dam&#8217;tta being nominated for residency at Changwoo theater for Cheon Cha Man Byeol festival(SEL) in South Korea.&nbsp;Currently, she is carrying out practice-based research at the Sydney Bearing interest in the state of in-between and ambiguous patterns such as space, interface, texture, and natural phenomenon, her process often begins with an attempt to encounter a different and unfamiliar perspective. From live electronic music performances to audio-visual, installations and interface-instrument design, Mint takes her work to various terrains and formats of experiments, constantly pushing the boundaries of her role as an artist and a musician. Establishing such a hybrid platform, she explores non-linear expressions and behaviors like turbulence, noise, machine-intelligence and, improvised music through sound, visuals, lights, and other experience-based immersive media performances. Mint, has actively collaborated with, choreographers, filmmakers, new media artists, and traditional musicians. As a co-founder of Unheard Records, she has also been producing and working with fellow female identifying, p.o.c. or minority musicians. Mint\u2019s works have been selected and performed in REDCAT New Original Works Festival (Los Angeles) and WeSA Festival (Seoul). She also has presented and developed her work through 4D Sound x SVS records Creative Lab(Budapest), GlogauAIR(Berlin) and ACC_R Creators in LAB(Gwangju). Under her alias, BAKA\u0301H, Mint plays live electronic sets underlining her influences from dark techno, dub, and drone music. For dotolim set in 2019 summer, Mint, with a Korean traditional percussionist, Hannah Kim, will present a lively duo improv material ranging from delicate ambient sound fixture to hypnotizing mishmash
