연주자 소개
노윤래 Yooleh Noh
홀로씬 전자에서 디지털 신호 처리 및 아날로그 회로 엔지니어로, 모듈러 신디사이저를 개발하는 작업을 하고 있다. 현재는 신호처리 과정 속에서의 오류들(노이즈)와 시간과 공간의 울림에 초점을 두어 피드백 루프를 이용한 즉흥 연주 방법을 공상하고 있다.
MSHR 매셜
MSHR 매셜은 조각적인 전자 시스템을 구축하고 탐구하는 아트 콜렉티브입니다. MSHR의 작업은 신호의 출력을 입력부에 되먹이는 방식으로 패칭된 자기변용하는 독립체로, 그 형태는 인터랙티브 전시, 가상환경, 그리고 라이브 퍼포먼스를 통해 발현됩니다. MSHR은 2011년 오레곤 주 포틀랜드에서 Brenna Murphy와 Birch Cooper에 의해 결성되었습니다. MSHR은 가변적인 약어로 상황에 따라 여러 다른 의미를 내포합니다.
라이브 퍼포먼스
MSHR은 제스처 인터페이스의 연속체를 통해 사이버네틱 시스템을 즉흥 연주합니다. MSHR의 시스템은 빛과 소리의 피드백, 그리고 연주자와 악기 사이의 물리적인 상호작용을 기반으로 합니다. 라이브 인터페이스의 디자인 또한 MSHR의 조각 작업으로부터 비롯된 것입니다. 디지털 조형 소프트웨어의 직관적인 그리고 절차적인 접근이 결합하여 제어반 console으로 기능하는 조각물을 구현합니다. 작품의 실연 과정에서, MSHR은 합성 생태계 내부의 행위자 agent로서 작동합니다.

연주자 소개
Ryosuke Kiyasu 키야스 료스케
키야스 료스케는 2003년부터 솔로 스네어 드러머로 활동하며 55개국 투어를 진행했습니다. 키야스 자신이 리더로 있는 밴드 SETE STAR SEPT의 드러머로도 알려져 있으며, Kiyasu 오케스트라. 하이노 케이지 Keiji Haino 의 ‘후시츠샤 Fushitsusha’ 의 드러머로 10년 넘게 활동 중입니다. 2018 베를린에서의 공연 영상은 2,300만 회 조회되며 전 세계적으로 큰 화제를 불러일으켰습니다.
Ian-John 이안-존은 뉴질랜드에서 태어나 오클랜드 대학교와 오클랜드 대학교에서 공부했습니다. 이후 대만, 일본을 거쳐 한국에서 거주하고 있습니다. 2015년부터 그룹 즉흥연주를 위한 공연 시리즈인 ‘ 딱지’를 간헐적으로 기획해왔으며, 같은 해 ‘중고 소리 가게’를 운영하기 시작했습니다.
Ian-John was born in New Zealand and studied at AUT and Auckland University. Since then, he has lived in Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. Since 2015 he has intermittently organized the Ddakji series for group improvisation, and started running the ‘Second Heard Sound Shop’ also that year.

연주자 소개
송지윤 Jiyun Song
대금 연주자이자 즉흥음악가. 음악적 새로움에 대한 의문과 호기심을 원동력으로, 소리와 악기에 대한 탐 구와 실험의 과정을 거듭한다. 항상 깨어있고 행동하는 것을 중요하게 생각하며, 전통의 범주를 넘어 경계 없는 창작자로 남고자 한다.
2021년부터 서울문화재단, 한국문화예술위원회의 지원을 받아 서울을 기반으로 즉흥음악콘서트 시리즈 를 기획하고 있으며, 수림문화재단의 수림 뉴웨이브 아티스트에 선정되었다(2022). 또한, 파리와 베를린 을 오가며 즉흥음악과 현대음악 장르에서 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있으며, S.P.I.M.E festival, Festival son d’hiver paris, Radio France ‘A improviste’, Radio Liberte 등에 출연하고, concert ‘Les monde d’ici’, 아시안뮤직앙상블 A.M.E멤버, 리퀴드사운드 아티스트로 활동하고 있다.
국악 고등학교, 서울대학교와 동 대학원에서 대금을 전공하고, 동아국악콩쿠르 금상, 21세기 한국음악프 로젝트 대상 등을 수상하였다. 솔리스트로서 금호 영아티스트 선정, 크로아티아 두브로브니크 심포니 오 케스트라, 터키 이스탄불 국립심포니 오케스트라와 협연하였다. 한국인 최초로 프랑스 파리CRR d’aubervilliers 즉흥음악 (D.E.M)과정 졸업(2018), PSPBB(Pôle supérieur d’enseignement artistique Paris Boulogne-Billancourt)에서 Vincent le Quang을 사사하며 즉흥 창작음악과 석사 를 졸업(2021)하였다.
Jiyun SONG is a talented musician and improviser who is driven by her curiosity and passion for musical innovation. She is dedicated to exploring and experimenting with sound and instruments, aiming to go beyond the boundaries of tradition and become a limitless creative artist.
She began her musical journey by specializing in Dae-geum at the Gugak National High School, and continued her studies at Seoul National University and its graduate school. She is the first Korean to graduate from the improvisation program at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional d’Aubervilliers (D.E.M) in Paris (2018), and also obtained her master’s degree in improvisation from the Pôle supérieur d’enseignement artistique Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB) under the guidance of Vincent le Quang (2021).
Recently, she has created improvisation performance projects with support from the Arts Council Korea and Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture(2021), and she was also selected as one of the Soorim New Wave artist by the Soorim Cultural Foundation (2022). Additionally, she is planning a continuous series of improvisation music concerts based in Seoul starting from 2022. She shuttles between Paris and Berlin to interact with other musicians and has performed at various events, such as the S.P.I.M.E festival, Festival son d’hiver Paris, Radio France’s ‘A improviste’, and Radio Liberte, She is also a member of the Asian Music Ensemble (AME), the concert “Les monde d’ici,”, and a Liquid Sound artist.
진상태 Jin Sangtae
진상태는 자신의 경험으로 알게 된 사물들에 자신의 관심사를 투사하여 발음체로 전환, 그것들을 공간에 재배치하는 음악 연주를 이어오고 있다. 주로 해체된 하드디스크와 연결될 수 있는 여러 사물/물질들을 조합해 자신의 악기로 주로 연주해 오고 있다. 또한 레코딩 작곡 작품 ‘Year‘를 2015 년부터, 시각예술가 김인경과의 오디오비주얼 듀오 중간자’를 2019년 부터 진행하고 있다. 기획자로는 2008년부터 즉흥음악 공간 ‘닻올림‘ 에서 ‘닻올림 연주회’, 즉흥음악 페스티벌 ‘닻올림픽’ 을 기획해 오고 있다. http://popmusic25.com
JIN Sangtae performs with non-musical objects collected through his experience, projected into instruments, and then reorganized into space. He uses hard drives and several materials that can be connected as the main instrument. He’s been uploading online his composition ‘Year‘ via mobile phone every day since 2015. He founded ‘dotolim‘, a small space for improvised music, and has been organizing the ‘dotolim concert series’ since 2008 and the festival for improvised / experimental music ‘dotolimpic‘ in 2012, 2013, and 2017. http://popmusic25.com
Kat Austen 캣 오스틴
Kat Austen 캣 오스틴은 그녀는 예술 활동에서 환경 문제에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 그녀는 여러 분야와 미디어를 융합하여 조각과 뉴미디어 설치, 퍼포먼스, 참여형 작품을 제작합니다. 오스틴의 작업은 광범위한 연구와 이론에 기반을 두고 있으며, 보다 사회적, 환경적으로 정의로운 미래로 나아가는 방법을 탐구하려는 동기에 의해 추진됩니다.
서울과 베를린의 스튜디오에서 작업하는 오스틴은 유니버시티 칼리지 런던의 수학 및 물리 과학 학부의 레지던스 아티스트이자 UCL 예술 및 과학의 선임 교육 연구원으로 활동하고 있습니다. 아르스 일렉트로니카의 STARTS 레지던시 리페어링 더 프레젠트, WRO 아트센터 2020의 EMAP/EMARE 레지던스 아티스트, 포츠담 고급 지속가능성 연구소의 아티스트 펠로우 등 다수의 레지던시 및 펠로우십에 참여했습니다. 또한 왕립예술협회 펠로우이기도 합니다.
오스틴은 2017년에 스콧 극지 연구소(캠브리지 대학교)의 프렌즈 오브 프렌즈 오브 스콧의 아티스트 인 더 북극으로 캐나다 고북극을 항해하며 ‘영혼의 문제’ 프로젝트를 수행했습니다. 2018년 오스틴은 같은 프로젝트로 리즈대학교 문화연구소의 예술 및 과학 분야 문화 펠로우로 선정되었습니다.
오스틴은 대한민국 창원 조각 비엔날레, 영국 본햄스 아트 갤러리, 영국 극지 박물관, 폴란드 브로츠와프 현대 박물관, 벨기에 보자르 미술센터 등에서 전시했으며, 그녀의 작품은 전 세계적으로 공공 및 개인 소장품에 소장되어 있습니다. 리즈 오페라 노스, 베를린 퓨전 페스티벌, 린츠 아르스 일렉트로니카 페스티벌, 샌프란시스코 헤드랜즈 예술 센터 등 전 세계에서 공연을 펼쳤습니다. https://katausten.com
Kat Austen is a person. In her artistic practice, she focusses on environmental issues. She melds disciplines and media, creating sculptural and new media installations, performances and participatory work. Austen’s practice is underpinned by extensive research and theory, and driven by a motivation to explore how to move towards a more socially and environmentally just future.
Working from her studios in Seoul and Berlin, Austen is Artist in Residence at the Faculty of Maths and Physical Sciences, University College London and Senior Teaching Fellow at UCL Arts and Sciences. She has held numerous residencies and fellowships including STARTS Residency Repairing the Present at Ars Electronica, EMAP / EMARE Artist in Residence at WRO Art Center 2020 and Artist Fellow at Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies, Potsdam. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Austen’s field research has included a voyage around the Canadian High Arctic as Artist in the Arctic 2017 for Friends of Scott Polar Research Institute (University of Cambridge) for her project The Matter of the Soul. In 2018 Austen was selected as inaugural Cultural Fellow in Art and Science at the Cultural Institute, University of Leeds for the same project.
Austen has exhibited at Changwon Sculpture Biennale, Republic of Korea; Bonhams Art Gallery, UK; The Polar Museum, UK; Contemporary Museum, Wrocław, Poland; Bozar Centre for Fine Arts, Belgium among others, and her work is held internationally in public and private collections. She has performed around the globe, including at Opera North, Leeds; Fusion Festival, Berlin, Ars Electronica Festival, Linz and Headlands Center for the Arts, San Francisco.

This Land is Not Mine
닻올림에서 연주할 작품의 이름이자 Kat Austen 캣 오스틴의 동명 LP의 이름이기도 한 “This Land is Not Mine”은 어쿠스틱과 일렉트로니카를 필드레코딩과 결합하여 노천 채굴로 황폐화된 풍경에 대한 오마주를 담아낸 작품입니다.
2년간의 작업 후 공개된 ‘This Land Is Not Mine’은 과거의 잃어버린 마을, 비밀을 간직한 강, 광산 폐쇄 이후 재건하는 커뮤니티의 이야기를 담았습니다. 오스틴의 음악적 뿌리는 클래식 피아노, 메탈, 포크로 거슬러 올라가는데, 2018년부터 오스틴은 필드레코딩과 앰비언트 일렉트로닉 사운드를 전통 악기와 목소리에 혼합하여 악기 및 목소리를 혼합하여 독특하고 연상적인 소닉 태피스트리 (sonic tapestry)를 만들어 냈습니다.
